SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah ski team has announced the hiring of former All-American Jeremy Elliot as assistant alpine coach.
Elliot skied two years at Utah (2011, 2013) and earned All-America honors in the slalom with a second-place finish at the NCAA Championships in 2013. He had two wins with eight career podium finishes for the Utes. As a senior, Elliot earned the David Allen Novelle Outstanding Skier Award, given to the top men's alpine skier at Utah. He had to overcome three major injuries throughout his skiing career, including a knee injury that sidelined him in 2012.
