SURPRISE, Ariz. – Utah skier Julie Mohagen won her third-straight women’s slalom race as the Utah ski team closed out the New Mexico Invitational with a second-place finish on Sunday afternoon. Earning podium finishes in the men’s and women’s 5-km freestyle races was Veronika Mayerhofer, Nick Hendrickson and Niklas Persson.
Mohagen has six podium finishes this year with three victories. Roni Remme finished fifth for her second-straight top-five finish. Chloe Fausa was 13th while Teagen Palmer did not finish.
In the men’s slalom, Joergen Brath was the top skier with a 14th-place run.
