SALT LAKE CITY - Former Utah skier Miles Havlick and incoming skier Leah Lange both had strong performances at the 2016 U.S. Cross Country Championships, held in Houghton, Michigan, from Jan. 3-9.
Lange was selected to represent the U.S. at the 2016 Cross Country World Junior Championship, held in Rasnov, Romania from Feb. 18-29, 2016.The top six athletes who score the best in two of the first three races at the U.S. Cross Country Ski Championships are chosen for the team. Lange placed 20 in the junior women's 10-km classical, 21st in women's freestyle sprints and 26th in the 5-km freestyle.
