Talk about a game of runs, as the Utes were able to withstand the final run by Arizona State to come away with a road split in the state of Arizona by a score of 88-82. Things started out really well for the Utes, as they opened the game with a 9 point lead at 11-2, but Arizona State would go on a massive run after that to take a 23-6 run to take a 10 point lead. Utah would have a run of their own to counter before the end of the half to trail by 3.
Utah would have a run late in the game to give themselves a10 point lead, but ASU would battle back to have an opportunity to tie at the end of regulation, but Utah was able to dodge some threes by ASU to put away the win.
