Utes pull win from USC series on Scaggari’s grand slam

Utah’s baseball team lost the first two of the week’s series at USC, but Cody Scaggari made sure it didn’t happen a third time.

Scaggari went 5-of-6 with a grand slam — one of three home runs by the Utes — to help Utah to a 14-8 win over the Trojans on Sunday afternoon.

Scaggari drove in six runs on the day, including his fifth-inning slam.
