SEATTLE — The fourth-ranked Utah gymnastics team kept its undefeated season and series against No. 19 Washington alive Saturday afternoon with a 197.150-196.300 win at Alaska Airlines Arena.
Utah (6-0, 1-0 Pac-12) has never lost to Washington (2-5, 1-1), reeling in just two ties, which took place in Seattle, in the 55 competitions between the two teams.
MyKayla Skinner scored 39.575 in the all-around to win the title for the fourth-consecutive week. Teammate Baely Rowe finished second place, posting 39.500.
But the Red Rocks’ victory wasn’t all smiles. During warm-ups, freshman Kim Tessen tore her Achilles.
