The University of Utah was a top 25 team last season and looks poised to have another successful year in the Pac-12 South. BYU is back with senior quarterback Taysom Hill and the Cougars are seen as potential New Year's Six darlings if they can survive their murderous September schedule. Utah State is flying under the radar, but will fight for the Mountain West championship with perennial powerhouse Boise State.
