The saga of the Morgan Scalley story came to a conclusion today. As was reported three weeks ago, the athletic department suspended Morgan Scalley from the program due to a racist comment he made in a text message back in 2013. Social media and local sports media exploded with the news, with plenty of reaction from fans, former players, coaches and more. Wednesday afternoon, the AD announced that Morgan Scalley will remain as the defensive coordinator at Utah, after concluding their investigation which included interviewing former and current players and coaches. Scalley is getting dinged heavily financially, and in title.
