SALT LAKE CITY — Former Utah All-American Morgan Scalley now has his dream job as the defensive coordinator at the school he loves.
Waiting for the chance to be the top defensive coach at his alma mater paid off in a big way for the former Utah safety from 2001-04.
"I've been surrounded by good people, and I'm grateful for parents that raised me not to complain about things that don't happen — I just work," Scalley said. "When it didn't happen last year, it was tough. But I love John (Pease), and it was tough this go-around when I was hired to where I wish I had more time with the guy.
