SAN FRANCISCO – The Utah men’s tennis team had four student-athletes honored with academic awards from the Pac-12 Conference this morning
Matt Cowley, who graduated with a 3.51 GPA in Psychology, became the first Ute in program history to be honored for a third-straight year. He was joined on the first team by sophomore Santiago Sierra, who has a 3.60 GPA in Chemical Engineering.
The two first-team academic selections for Utah set a new standard after placing one student-athlete during its first four years in the Pac-12.
