Albuquerque, NM – Heading into the third day of the 2015 ITA Regionals, the Utes will be represented with three singles players in the round of 16 and two doubles teams in the quarterfinals.
In singles play on Thursday, fifth-seeded Parker McGuiness powered his way into the round of 16 winning two matches. In the second round he defeated Yannick Schmidl (Montana), 6-1, 6-2, followed by a straight-set victory over Weber State’s Jakob Gewert 6-3, 7-6(4).
Freshman Dan Little earned his way into the round of 16 with two decisive victories.
