First Round Results

TUCSON, Ariz. – The Utah men’s golf team carded a score of 4-over par (292) in the first round of the National Invitational Tournament on Sunday in Tucson, Ariz. Utah sits in a tie for 13th-place heading into the second round of play which is being held at the Omni Tucson National.

Utah is 14 strokes behind current tournament leaders Nevada and Santa Clara, who recorded first rounds of 10-under par (278). Tournament host, Arizona, is in fourth place with a score of 3-under par (285). Wyoming (-6) trails Nevada and Santa Clara in third place, while Colorado State (-2) rounded out the top-5 teams.
