SALT LAKE CITY — Utah will honor its seniors Saturday night in the team's final game of the regular season. While most farewells are difficult, this year's outgoing class may be the most significant in terms of what the class has meant to the state of the Utah basketball program.
Utah will recognize five seniors — Brandon Taylor, Dakarai Tucker, Jordan Loveridge, Jeremy Olsen and Austin Eastman — Saturday, but there isn't enough that can be said about the 'leap of faith' Taylor and Loveridge took when they committed to a poor Utah program.
Prior to their freshmen season, Utah had won six games and there was no immediate promise that Utah would be a competitive program by the end of their college experience.
