SALT LAKE CITY — Utah’s shot at the Pac-12 South Division title is really a simple task.
Win out and the Utes are calling Santa Clara, California, home for the Pac-12 Championship weekend. ESPN’s Football Power Index, which measures a team’s success and projects game results, gives Utah a 23.1 percent to sweep their remaining four games. In fact, the FPI gives Utah a 48.8 percent chance of winning the conference — the highest percentage of any other Pac-12 team.
In Utah’s remaining three games of Pac-12 play, they have no less than a 69 percent chance to win each game — the highest, 81.
