SALT LAKE CITY — Former Utah wide receiver Darren Carrington II has found a landing spot in the NFL.
The Dallas Cowboys announced the signing of two receivers Monday afternoon, adding Carrington to the roster to replace rookie wideout Marchie Murdock following an injury in the Cowboys’ first preseason game.
Carrington caught 66 passes for 918 yards and six touchdowns in his lone season at Utah after transferring from Oregon.
Elsewhere in the NFL, former Utah wide receiver Dres Anderson was waived by the Colts late Sunday night. The 26-year-old Anderson signed a reserve/future contract with Indianapolis on Jan.
