KSL Pick'em: Ute fans edge out Cougars for top fan base

SALT LAKE CITY — The three local FBS schools all went on the road last week, but only one came back with a win.

No. 19 BYU lost a heartbreaker to No. 10 UCLA, a game in which the Cougars never trailed until a go-ahead touchdown run by Bruin running back Nate Starks with just under three and a half minutes left in the fourth quarter.

Utah State was within 7 points at halftime against Washington, but couldn't hold on as Huskies quarterback Jake Browning threw two third-quarter touchdowns in the Aggies 31-17 defeat.

Utah played without starting quarterback Travis Wilson, and despite fumbling the opening kickoff, the Utes cruised to a 45-24 win over Fresno State.
