SALT LAKE CITY — Week 7 marked the first time this season that the three in-state FBS teams earned a victory on the same weekend. BYU, Utah and Utah State all won convincingly on their home fields.
The lone upset of the week was LSU defeating Georgia, a stark contrast from Week 6 that had four upset picks.
Also for the first time this season, one fan from each of the local fan bases finished in the top 3 for the week. Utah fan David Shern finished first with 193 points, with BYU fan Darrel Jensen and Utah State fan Ben Zurcher close behind for second and third place.
