SALT LAKE CITY — Jakob Poeltl is once again in the limelight after his strong performance last week in Utah's wins over UCLA and USC, earning him another Pac-12 Player of the Week honor.
Poeltl was instrumental in Utah's road sweep over the Los Angeles schools, recording two double-doubles on the week. He averaged 22 points on 64 percent shooting, 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.5 blocks last week.
Poeltl is the only player in the Pac-12 to have been given the Player of the Week honor four times this season, which ties the second-most in one season in the conference (Eddie House in 1999-00, Ed O'Bannon in 1994-95 and Gary Payton in 1989-90).
