This almost feels like it should be another homecoming week since the Utes haven’t been home in three weeks. This will be the first home game since the loss of Aaron Lowe, and it’s also a game for the Pac-12 South lead. ASU is 3-0 in the conference, Utah is 2-0 in the conference, and the winner will have the inside track to the division crown.
Utah and ASU didn’t play last season due to COVID-19 cancelling the game (and perhaps the reason ASU is being investigated now by the NCAA). The last time Jayden Daniels came into Rice-Eccles it was a rough day throwing for only 25 yards.
