Game day! Finally, after a long winter and summer, Utah football is back. The Utes return to the field against the SUU Thunderbirds for their first ever matchup, Thursday night at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
The last time we saw Utah, they were wrapping up a 10 win 2015 season over BYU in the Las Vegas Bowl. Utah has lost their QB, star RB, a couple WR, and two stud linebackers, but the following recruiting class was the best on paper in Utah history. Utah has brought in JC transfer Troy Williams, and he will open the season as starter for the Utes, as he looks to bring a dormant offense to life.
