SEATTLE — It took four turnovers and a tough defensive effort for No. 12 Utah to escape with a road win Saturday against the Washington Huskies.
With a 34-23 win over the Huskies, Utah still controls its destiny in the Pac-12 South division and an outside shot of a berth in the College Football Playoffs. The following is a grading of Utah's performance Saturday.
Washington only allows opposing teams to score a conference-leading 16.9 points per game, but Utah managed 34 points against that defense, which is the most against the Huskies all season. Although 7 points can be attributed to Gionni Paul's fumble return for a touchdown, the offense did what it needed to in the win.
