AUSTIN, Texas—Two Utah gymnasts and a Ute skier were named today to the CoSIDA Academic All-America At-Large Team. Senior gymnast Breanna Hughes earned first team honors, while teammate and classmate Kailah Delaney made the second team along with sophomore skier Endre Bjertness. The at-large Academic All-America team encompasses 16 NCAA sports. The Academic All-America teams are selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Hughes, a five-time All-American with a 3.965 cumulative GPA, was the 2016 Pac-12 all-around and vault champion, the 2016 NCAA Regional all-around champion and the 2016 Pac-12 Gymnastics Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
