SALT LAKE CITY — Former Ute and current Oakland Raiders cornerback Sean Smith is beginning to live up to the four-year, $40 million contract he signed with the team earlier this year. The NFL vet recorded a crucial interception for the Raiders early in the fourth quarter of the win over Tennessee, jumping a slant route over the middle.
Another former Utah local, Kansas City defensive back Daniel Sorensen joined in the fun. Part of a defensive melee that turned the Jets over eight times, Sorensen recorded one of Jets quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick's six interceptions.
