Former Utah RB Devontae Booker Drafted by Denver Broncos Round 4 Pick 136

Former Utah running back Devontae Booker was drafted by the defending Super Bowl Champion Denver Broncos in the fourth round, pick No. 136. This is lower than most thought Booker would go. It is possible his knee injury scared some off. Booker came to Utah via American River Junior College. At Utah, he was named first-team All-Pac-12 as a junior and second-team All-Pac-12 as a senior. As a senior, Booker suffered a season-ending knee injury against Arizona that required surgery. Because he was still recovering, he was not able to fully participate in many of the pre-draft evaluations (like the NFL Combine and a pro day).
