Former Utah DT Lowell Lotulelei to Retire from Football

Former Utah Utes defensive tackle Lowell Lotulelei has decided to retire from football. He was not selected in the 2018 NFL Draft but did sign an UDFA contract with the Denver Broncos.

Lowell Lotulelei/DT/Utah has informed the Denver Broncos he is retiring from football. Lotulelei, who signed a UDFA contract with Denver, hopes to get into coaching.

He received a $15,000 signing bonus (tied for the most of any undrafted free agent who signed with the Broncos) but has already paid that money back to the team.
