SALT LAKE CITY – Freshman quarterback Tyler Huntley completed 17 of 26 passes for 233 yards with one touchdown as the White Team earned a 14-7 victory over the Red squad during the University of Utah football team’s annual Spring Game Saturday at Rice-Eccles Stadium.
“For the spring overall, the offense was pretty good,” Utah Head Coach Kyle Whittingham said. “We made a lot more plays on the outside with our receivers than we have in a long time, but that has to continue. We had a sloppy start in the beginning of today’s game, but overall when you judge the entire body of work, they took a big step forward this spring.
