NEW YORK - Utah center Siaosi Aiono has been named to the Rimington Trophy watch list, awarded to the top center in the country.
Aiono is in his third season as a starter at Utah and his second year at center. Last year he allowed just one sack in 747 regular-season plays and had 15 cuts. Aiono's six cuts against UCLA last year was tied for the team season high.
Finalists for the award will be announced on December 7, 2015.
Also named to preseason watch lists to date are Devontae Booker (Maxwell Award - College Player of the Year) and Jared Norris (Bednarik Award - College Defensive Player of the Year, Lott Trophy - Defensive Best in Character and Performance).
