SAN FRANCISCO—The annual preseason media poll was announced today at the Pac-12 Football Media Day at Warner Bros. Studios and Utah was picked to finish fifth in the South Division.
A media panel of voters who cover the Pac-12 predicted USC would win the 2015 South Division race, followed by Arizona State, UCLA, Arizona, Utah and Colorado. Utah has finished fifth in the Pac-12 South for the past three seasons after tying for third in 2011 in its first year in the conference.
Last season, the Utes finished above .500 in Pac-12 play for the first time, going 5-4 in conference games (including South Division wins over UCLA, USC and Colorado) and 9-4 overall.
