For Dres Anderson, the former Utah receiver, being put on the shelf, and seeing his possible NFL dreams fade due to injury has to have been challenging for someone with such a bright future. On Tuesday, Dres was given the opportunity to show NFL scouts that the knee injury that he suffered during the USC game was put behind him.
In front of more than a dozen NFL scouts, Dres ran between a 4.35 and 4.43 40 time, which is huge for a wide receiver coming off of a knee injury. He also had a broad jump of 10-feet 1-inch, and he had a much needed exhibition of catching passes, as he did not drop a single ball.
