SALT LAKE CITY — Former University of Utah running back Devontae Booker has signed a contract with the Denver Broncos.
Booker, the No. 136 overall pick of the NFL Draft, signed a four-year, $2.7 million deal with the Broncos Friday. Booker made $383,393 in his signing bonus, according to spotrac.com, which details the contracts of athletes.
In addition to Booker’s signing bonus, he is guaranteed an additional $383,393 in salary and will make $450,000 in his base salary in 2016, according to spotrac.com. Booker’s base salary will increase $90,000 each year over the duration of his contract and will average $680,848 each year.
