Devontae Booker has minor knee surgery, could return for bowl game

Utah Utes star running back Devontae Booker underwent a minor procedure on his meniscus this morning, but hopes to return for the team’s eventual bowl game.

Sean O’Connel of ESPN700 reported the update on Twitter.

Sources tell me that Devontae Booker has scheduled minor meniscus surgery for today. Hopeful to return for bowl game. #sources #utes

Booker, who has rushed for 1,261 yards and 11 touchdowns on the season while also chipping in 37 catches for 316 yards, has been battling knee pain all week.
