The Las Vegas Bowl announced a sellout of general public tickets less than 24 hours after Utah was invited to face BYU in an unprecedented postseason rivalry game.
BYU sold out its 11,000 allotment. Utah sold out its 7,500.
So all that remains for fans hoping to watch the Dec. 19 matchup is the secondhand market. And it's a doozy.
According to information provided by TiqIQ.com, the average asking price for Vegas Bowl tickets was $417 as of mid-Wednesday.
Only the Rose Bowl ($1,358) and the National Championship ($1,717) were pricier.
