Booker a starter; Smith concussed; Sorensen plays big yet again

SALT LAKE CITY — Week 8 of the NFL season added yet another Utah local to the NFL's injury report in Alex Smith. After eight weeks, Utah State is the only school to not see a former player lost to the injured reserve, with the Utah and BYU contingents being hit pretty severely. Three former Utes will likely miss the rest of the season, while BYU has seen three of its number lost for the season as well.
