SALT LAKE CITY — Utah’s Troy Williams took a deep shot downfield on the first play of the game Thursday against Southern Utah, and the rest was history.
Utah had officially ushered in a new era of passing.
At least that’s what it appears Utah will be able to rely upon moving forward this season. One game is not a true indicator of what a team will do for the remainder of its 11 games in a season, but for Utah, it’s a step in the right direction.
Coming into the season, there was an overwhelming insistence from the coaching staff and players that Utah would work to have a better passing attack.
