SALT LAKE CITY – The Utah baseball team rallied from a 3-0 deficit to defeat Arizona, 6-3, to open a three-game series against the Wildcats on Friday evening.

Utah trailed 3-0 before scoring six runs on five hits in the seventh inning to take a 6-3 lead.

Jayson Rose pitched seven innings on the mound, allowing three runs (two earned) on five hits with 10 strikeouts, which ties his season high. Dylan Drachler earned the save after pitching the final 1 1/3 innings with three strikeouts. Josh Tedeschi also pitched 2/3 of an inning.
