Baseball. Utah Baseball Falls to BYU, 6-0

PROVO, Utah – The Utah baseball team fell to BYU, 6-0, on Tuesday evening in a midweek contest.

BYU scored two runs in the fourth and three runs in the fifth inning en-route to the win.

Utah was led at the plate by Ellis Kelly, who went 3-for-4 on the night. Both BYU and Utah each had 10 hits on the evening. The Utes would strand 11 runners on base throughout the night.

Josh Lapiana pitched four innings, allowing two runs on five hits with three strikeouts and a walk.
