TEMPE, Ariz. - The Utah baseball team was on the wrong end of a no-hitter on Friday night, falling 5-0 to Arizona State.
Dalton Carroll was strong over five innings pitched, allowing two runs on eight hits with one walk and eight strikeouts. Andre Jackson added five strikeouts in relief over 2 2/3 innings, allowing one hit. Nolan Stouder also pitched part of an inning for the Utes, allowing three runs on four hits.
The Utes (7-13) had four runners reach base on the night. Kody Davis walked and was hit by a pitch.
