SALT LAKE CITY – For the third-straight day, the Utah baseball team rallied from behind to beat Arizona, 4-2, and record its first-ever series sweep in Pac-12 play.
Utah (10-14, 7-2 Pac-12) had just one hit through seven innings before exploding for four runs on five hits in the bottom of the eight. Max Schuman led off the eighth inning with a single and pinch runner Chandler Anderson put Utah’s first run on the board on an RBI double into the left field corner from Cody Scaggari, beating the throw home.
