SALT LAKE CITY - The Utah baseball team begins its fall practice on Sunday, Sept. 20, with an intersquad scrimmage.
The Utes will have 27 practices through October 30. In addition to 16 intersquad scrimmages, Utah will host a scrimmage against BYU on Saturday, Sept. 26, at Smith's Ballpark at noon. The Utes will also travel to UNLV on Saturday, Oct. 24.
The team has been holding individual workouts for several weeks.
"The No. 1 goal of the fall is to get our system in, and make sure the new players have an idea of the team aspects of being ready to play a baseball game," Utah head coach Bill Kinneberg said.
