SALT LAKE CITY - Utah senior pitcher Dalton Carroll was selected by the Atlanta Braves in the 21st round of the 2016 Major League Baseball Draft on Saturday afternoon.
Carroll went 5-7 for the Utes as a senior this season with a 5.04 ERA. He finished second on the team with 49 strikeouts. Carroll surrendered just two home runs this season, which is tied for second in the Pac-12.
