SALT LAKE CITY — It seems like everyone is talking about it, even those people who aren't Utah football fans.

Saturday's game between fifth-ranked Utah and 23rd-ranked California is the game of the year thus far for both teams. Here are a few storylines heading into the matchup.

Perhaps the biggest buzz around Salt Lake City is the fact the game isn't just on ESPN, but also the University of Utah will host ESPN's "College GameDay."

"It is great for our program and university," Utah head coach Kyle Whittingham said.
