3-Star TE Ben Moos Decommits From Utah

Pullman (Wash.) Pullman three-star tight end Ben Moos decided to decommit from the University of Utah. Moos, the son of Washington State athletic director Bill Moos, committed to Utah back in December over offers from Arizona State, Louisville, and Washington State.

Moos committed to Utah under previous offensive coordinator Aaron Roderick. Now that Utah brought in Troy Taylor as offensive coordinator, Utah’s offense will likely be different. It is very possible that tight ends will not be utilized as much in Taylor’s offense, which likely factored into Moos’s decision to decommit from Utah. Moos was the lowest rated recruit in Utah’s 2017 class according to the 247Sports Composite ranking prior to his decommitment.
