Utah Valley men's cross-country senior Tyson Lambert received an automatic individual bid to the NCAA Division I Cross Country Championships on Nov. 18, in Louisville, Kentucky, in the national championship selection field released Saturday afternoon.
A product of Grantsville, Utah, Lambert becomes the second runner in UVU's program history to earn a trip to the national championships. Former Wolverine Joshua McCabe made NCAA Championships appearances in the 2010 and 2012 seasons.
