Utah extended its losing streak against UCLA to 11 games Friday, falling to the Bruins 81-74 at the Jon M. Huntsman Center.
That slide includes all 10 matchups between the two teams since Utah joined the Pac-12 Conference.
With the Bruins leading by four points coming out of a timeout with 37 seconds left on the clock, the game looked as if it would end in nail-biting fashion. Instead, UCLA cruised on a series of free throws to victory.
It was, however, a close game from the beginning. After misses on both ends to start the game, the Utes scored first.
