Utah State women's tennis announces end of the season awards

LOGAN —Utah State women's tennis head coach Sean McInerney has announced the 2018-19 end of the season awards, as four student-athletes have been recognized for their accomplishments this season.

McInerney has named sophomore Alexandra Pisareva this season's most valuable player as she earned first-team all-Mountain West singles accolades after leading the team in singles wins with 22, including 11-3 at the No. 1 spot and 1-0 at the No. 3 spot during dual match play. Pisareva also went 3-1 in singles against Mountain West opponents during the dual match season, and also ended the season winning seven of her last eight completed matches.
