LOGAN — Utah State's track & field program qualified 17 student-athletes to compete in 20 events at the NCAA West Preliminary, it was announced Thursday.
The Aggies will send 11 men and six women to compete Thursday through Saturday, May 23-25, at Hornet Stadium in Sacramento, California. The East Preliminary is being held at the USF Track and Field Stadium in Tampa, Florida.
Athletes who ranked among the top-48 nationally in their respective event earned berths to the NCAA preliminaries. For each relay event, the top-24 declared relay teams also qualified for the prelims.
