LOGAN — A year ago, the Utah State offense opened the 2014 season with a woeful performance in a 38-7 loss at Tennessee.

The Aggies ended up with 244 yards of total offense, rushing for 100 yards on 24 carries with quarterback Chuckie Keeton completing 18 of 35 passes for 144 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions.

Of course, that effort came on the road against a solid SEC team backed by more than 100,000 orange-clad fans.

Last week, the Aggies opened their 2015 campaign with eerily similar numbers, only they were playing at home against an FCS opponent picked to finish eighth in the Big Sky Conference.
