LOGAN — Utah State football concluded its third week of spring practice with its second scrimmage Saturday morning on Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium.
First-year head coach Gary Andersen, who is in his fifth year overall in charge of the Aggies, was pleased with how the defense performed, but also knows that the offense gave USU’s defense too many opportunities.
“After last week, the defense bounced back and did a nice job,” said Andersen. “The key is when getting into your second scrimmage, you like to have some give and take, which is a good thing.
