At Wyoming, starters Darius Perkins (eight) Chris Smith (seven) and Elston Jones (three) played limited minutes in the second half. Key reserve Shane Rector played one minute.
On the other hand, guard Henry Bolton played 12 minutes. It was his first time off the bench in a month. He had played 46 minutes in Utah State's first 21 games.
"We have a good set of kids," Duryea said. "… But when you're going bad, you have to figure out how to get it turned around.
"I think there's reason for optimism. You look at every game and, for 20 or 30 minutes, we perform like a pretty good team.
