LOGAN — Longtime Utah State head basketball coach Stew Morrill used to refer to it as the "monster" that he created. After putting together back-to-back 28-win seasons during his second and third years at USU, Morrill said fan expectations about his program got a little out of hand, and those lofty presumptions only got worse as he and the Aggies continued to rack up conference titles and NCAA appearances.
